Hands Across the Cities
September/October, 2008
Dear Pastors and Christian Workers,
Greetings! History will be made on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 10:30AM (California, USA Time) as churches all over our cities unite with one stand, one voice and one song. The move is called Hands Across the Cities and our goal is a healing of the land. We’ll stand on the Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 and with one voice sing halleluia all over the city.
Picture the following
10:30AM Congregations begin to gather on sidewalk in front of church building
10:32AM Singers lead people in singing “Halleluia” (any version) as the people gather and God’s people touch and agree up and down the block.
Children hold up signs and banners made with their hands
10:40AM Pastors or designated leader lead people in ‘A Healing Prayer’ based on 2 Chronicles 7:14
10:45AM End with a shout of triumph believing that the work is done.
